Meet Michelle Dowds, the Finance Manager and Sales Administrator, who dots the i’s and crosses the t’s. Since joining Platinum Residential in 2011, Michelle has become an administrative force to be reckoned with. Working quietly behind the scenes, her keen eye and unwavering attention to detail provides assurance that accounting functions are flawless, and the group administration is audit-proof.
Fulfilling various internal roles over the years, Compliance and Sales Administration have recently been added to her many varied functions. Thankfully, adherence to regulations makes Michelle’s heart sing so everything and everyone is kept in check under her watchful eye.
Before joining the real estate arena, she worked in many industries including insurance, vehicle manufacture, and construction, all the while honing her professional skills to become a high functioning business administrator. In addition, she ran her own book-keeping firm during the early years, and just for good measure partnered in a sport climbing club to coach budding climbers of all ages in the growing sport of indoor rock climbing.
On weekends, if she is not meticulously tending to the plants in her garden, you will find Michelle wandering around a vintage market, or with her two daughters at a rock climbing crag in the great outdoors.
